Lavender munstead makes an excellent cut or dried flower. Dwarf variety grows 12-14" tall. Very fragrant, producing spikes of purple flowers in the summer. Plant in well-drained soil. Drought tolerant. Excellent in hedges, or for mass plantings. Use leaves in salads, vinegars, oils, sachets, flower arrangements, and wreaths.

Planting and Growing Tips: Plant when danger of frost has passed. Loves full sun and sandy soil for drainage. Lavender does well in poor soils but does not like to compete with weeds, so remove weeds before planting. Throw in a handful of well-aged compost when transplanting into the garden. Once established they need very little care.
